Illustrator
Lynn M. Mohney

At the tender age of six, Lynn’s teacher requested a picture of her mommy for Mother's Day. Lynn drew the picture, which was printed in the local newspaper, minus the artist and subject names. Low and behold, Lynn's mommy received several phone calls congratulating her for making it into the paper. Seems even at the age of six, Lynn drew people in their likeness.

As a child, Lynn enjoyed drawing with her nana, but she often grew impatient when Nana's drawings were better than hers. Nana said to keep practicing, and over time, she would improve.

Thirty-five years later, Lynn continues to illustrate children's books. She also designs and creates unique jewelry. In her spare time, she even writes her own stories. Lynn is the mother of two children. Now, when her son becomes frustrated with his drawings, Lynn tells him to keep practicing and he, too, will improve!
